Arival in Virginia

I arrived to the Virginian Colonies early this morning after the long journey here. I have already noticed a lot of major differences from my home in New England. For one, a major crop here is tobacco. Back in New England, tobacco is very rarely grown. Another difference is the culture. Back home, the people have orgins from all over Europe (Spain, England, Ireland) but here, is 99.9% English people. It's a major difference that takes some getting used to. Anyway, I've got to get back to the field to help out with preparing dinner for tonight.
Sincerly,
Sean

Long day of traveling

The state of Virginia (My Destination)
Today was my first day of traveling as part of my long journey to Virginia. I am quite tired and could use a rest but I know I must only rest for a couple hours and then get back on my way if I want to reach Virginia by Saturday. I am anxious to see what kind of lifestyle Virginians have and see the changes from our own culture here in the Mass Bay. I have to go now and cook up the wild goose our wagon ran over on the way here for dinner.

Sincerely,
Sean
